KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The generation of clear detailed requirements for projects in our infrastructure program. Examples of projects in this program include hardware/software upgrades, information security enhancements, network and telephony upgrades and application migrations;
- Collaboration with our technical stakeholders to specify and design technological solutions to support the business;
- Performing detailed system and process analysis;
- Organisation of requirement specifications, data mappings, diagrams and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow;
- Liaising with test teams to ensure test plans adequately capture requirement specifications;
- Liaising with internal technical and business stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition through Service Acceptance of changes into production;
- Engaging in the estimation process for projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree qualified or equivalent in a Computer Science or Information Technology discipline;
- Proven experience working as a Technical Business Analyst;
- Proven ability to manage the requirements process for large projects;
- Ability to elicit and elaborate high-level technical requirements and convert to detailed software functional and non-functional requirements;
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Flexible approach, with the ability to work on own initiative;
- Ability to accurately identify expected deliverables from stakeholders;
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills;
- On Premise and Cloud experience;
- An understanding of System Integration, Messaging Services and Micro Services;
- Experience of both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies;
- Core tools of the trade including Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Sharepoint, testrail and SQL.
