KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of new features as described using the tools and technologies as required
- Maintenance of existing platform and functionality
- Following existing standards, patterns and practices used for development
- Participate in product design by taking part in product back log meetings, recommending solutions, questioning, identifying and highlighting potential issues
- Take part in peer code reviews
- Develop high quality code in adherence to business specifications and internal development standards within agreed timelines
- Ability to switch between multiple projects
- Communicate effectively with all members of the team and company
- Effectively manage own time and deliver results to agreed timelines
- Work with the team to deliver high quality results
- Be willing to take on and learn new technologies, keeping skillset relevant to the role and up to date
- Contribute to estimates for development work and ensure that the work is delivered to those timelines and to an acceptable level of quality
- Be able to react fast to changing priorities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ or more years working in a development role
- Experience of development in required technologies
- .NET (VB and C#)
- SQL Server (Schema Design and TSQL) is essential
- JavaScript, Node.js, Angular (or similar js framework)
- Ionic Framework
- HTML/CSS/Bootstrap (or similar html/css framework)
- Source control (esp. Git)
- Experience in the following technologies would be advantageous
- DevOps processes, Jira or similar agile planning tools
- RESTful API development
- Entity Framework
- Azure
- IIS/Windows Server Config
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Must be located in Ireland for interviews
