Bashlee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity in the role of Senior Project Mechanical Engineer for one of our engineering consulting with sites in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. The successful candidate will work with other team members to provide consultancy mainly to commercial, data centre, food and beverage, and light industrial sectors.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and design mechanical services for various building projects.
- Produce detailed schematics and develop mechanical design standards.
- Mentor engineering staff and oversee project scopes with design teams/clients.
- Create detailed tender packages and monitor installation quality on-site until project completion.
- Analyze tenders, provide recommendations, and produce budgets and reports for clients.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT (preferred).
- Lead projects independently, primarily office-based with occasional site attendance.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Hold an Honours Degree; Chartered status is an advantage but not essential.
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer.
- Must be based in Ireland.
- Lead projects from concept stage to completion, liaising with clients, architects, and project managers.
- Expertise in specification and design of Mechanical Building Services systems for various projects, with thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.
- Deep understanding of Building Regulations, CIBSE, BS, IS, and EN Standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong team collaboration and proactive communication skills.
