KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interfacing with our customers to deliver cost effective technical engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and in-house resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Project scheduling and resource planning aligned to meet customer requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of all process steps.
- Preparation of co-ordinated drawings covering all aspects of the installation including mechanical, electrical sprinkler, structural and architectural elements
- Review and understand project design specifications and drawings and access compliance of co-ordinated drawings and technical submittals.
- Carry out document control, recording & transmitting information utilising File Key.
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for production activities
- Organise and assess the work of sub-contractors.
- Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging including walking down of P&ID’s, and layout drawings.
- Population of test packs and tracking of same
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in an engineering role within a similar environment.
- Third Level Qualification (minimum Level 8), in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Precision, Building Services or Manufacturing).
- Strong ability in reading technical drawings essential.
- Experience in using 2D and 3D modelling software applications.
- Previous record of delivering small to medium mechanical projects (Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects).
- The ability to multi-task and manage many priorities.
- Be flexible, dynamic with excellent interpersonal skills.
