Bashlee Recruitment has a vacancy for a Forklift Driver with one of our client sites in various locations in Ireland
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production facility.
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods to designated areas.
- Following stock control instructions and procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording material movements and stock levels.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods to designated areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse or production manager.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have previous experience of operating a Forklift ( Reach & Counter balance )
- Valid forklift licence
- Manual handling certificate
- Experience with driver run sheets/dockets
- Experience using electric pallet truck
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
