One of our clients is currently expanding their team. They have a great opportunity for a Foreman/Forewoman to work on several groundbreaking and exciting projects. They are growing and developing new projects with long-term, stable, career development opportunities in a variety of locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all general civils work activities on-site.
- Manage and coordinate project activities from planning to completion.
- Plan, coordinate, and report on sub-contractor performance.
- Monitor project progress in accordance with the agreed project schedule.
- Collaborate closely with Health and Safety (H&S) to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient site.
- Provide clear direction to direct staff and subcontractors.
- Act as a key manager for people, skills, and progress on the project.
- Foster a motivated and positive work environment among the team.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years in a Civil Foreman/Forewoman/Foreperson position working on building and civil projects
- Fully qualified tradesperson in construction trade e.g., carpenter, bricklayer etc.,
- 1+ years’ experience working with Irish H&S/building regulations and compliance.
- Enthusiastic personality with a strong work ethic, ability to work well using initiative, problem solving when required.
