Bashlee Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity, one of our clients is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting their development teams and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of their software solutions.
Tasks
- Work closely with cross-functional Scrum teams to implement DevOps practices and principles.
- Utilize communication tools like Slack, Teams, and Skype to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Proficiently use common tools such as Outlook, Exchange, Confluence, and Jira for streamlined project management.
- Demonstrate expertise in using code repository GIT for version control and code collaboration.
- Apply protocols like SSH, HTTP, and HTTPS for secure communication and data transfer.
- Display flexibility in performing maintenance tasks, including out-of-office hours if required.
Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration
- Experience in a Linux environment is essential.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience in DevOps solutions and CI/CD principles
- Database administration experience
- Scripting / programming skills
